Color changing Algae? White -> Pink !

Hey guys,

I love the way this looks. Any idea what it is? I have coraline algae, but none of it glows like this stuff does!

Both pictures are side by side comparisons of the exact same spot with MH light vs actinic light.

the top pics are a close up of the bottom pics

Turns out I've killed 90% of it by putting it on top of my LR.

It was on the bottom of the pile and now the only neon pink algae left is under small shaded areas!
 
It looks like some type of encrusting sponge to me.
 
It must've needed low-light.

Now that it's on top it's all dead. It's gone from a whitish-pink to a bleached white. :( It Looked SO beautiful.
