75 gallon Tank
50lbs LR +/-
CC substrate, thinking of changing to 3" sandbed
Overflow/Sump
Protein Skimmer

I want to put in as colorful assortment of fish as possible, thats why I got a saltwater tank.

With that being said....
Flame Angel or Coral Beauty
Foxface
Springers Dottyback
Blackcap Basslet
Dwarf Hawkfish
Purple Firefish/Helfrich's Firefish - perhaps a pair?
Blue Whiptail (Banana Fish) - needs sand bed
Black and White Clown Pair/Maybe Regular Pair of False Percs
4 Line Wrasse or one of the flasher wrasses

I would also like to add some inverts crabs and a shrimp or two, but I need suggestions.

Thats the wish list, whats the reality?

That seems like a lot of fish at first glance. Is this going to be FOWLR? The foxface and angels are problematic when it comes to some corals. The dward hawkfish will probably eat your shrimp.

Some things to think about...

Thanks you for your responses. I really want a flame angel, infact, I already got one, and I am willing to sacrifice the shrimps and craps to have such a beautiful fish.

ANy other thoughts?

cut the fish list down some and toss the CC before you go too far.
flames and shrimp are fine together they sometimes are coral eaters/nippers.
FF IMO is too large for a 55.
Purple Fire fish is fine but a single in a 55 would be best.
I need to look into some of the other fish you want.. banana fish?? no clue...
