common hitchhikers?

I have this creature in my tank that looks like what people VERBALLY describe what a carniverous sponge is. Any ideas?
It's bluish opaque in color, with what looks like a thin oval body, and at least 15-20 tenticals comming out all around. It stays on the rock and ground, stretching it's tenticals out to bring in what ever maybe food. The tenticals stretch out to about 4 inches in length.
