Compact Light / Metal Halide / Retro Fit

I am looking at a 4x96w compact Orbit light right now. Also I have seen some things on metal halide an retro fits w.e they are. Are they all the same or what because the Compact Lighting will offer 6 wpg and that fine for me. But, also what is so good about MH and RF how do I go about mondng it? Please let me know ty!

Unless you want clams, the pc are just fine. 6wpg is great for most corals and anemones. Clams really prefer mh.

MH retros are basically everything mounted to a reflector you mount ot the underside of a canopy. They just eliminate the fancy encliosure. Most people srew them in.
