Conch?

I was wondering if I could get a conch. I have nassarius snails and was told by a lfs person that it would it the nassarius. Ive never heard this before, is it correct? Also, are they reef safe?

What kind of conch?

Incidentally, bought a Tiger Sand Conch saturday, put it in the tank & when I looked back 1/2 hr later my halloween hermit had torn it to shreds. Hermit moved to sump, new conch going in tonight.

Tiger conch is a herbivore.

I have two or three fighting conch's,along with all types of hermits and snails with no problems at all between them.Here is a picture of my big boy. Sometimes I have seen hermits trying to mess with them with no luck.
