The tentacles aren't white anymore... They've turned kinda light brown ... Does anyone know why?

Also ... It's tentacles seems to b splitting.. It's like I took a String n tied it to some of its tentacles ... Does this mean anything?

Oh I had one of those, a pink tipped haitaain condy. Mine was a nightmare for me so I recently rehomed it. It looks just like mine did, I think the tentacles are healthy mine had some cutoff spots like that too.

How old is your tank? I believe you have a big tank if i remember correctly, cause this guy took over half my tank and looked like he was gonna split! lol But they do need extreme light and an established for a year or so tank for best results.

Good luck with him!

Can't help ya with the condy, but those pictures you took are very nice!

Hes right on the top near good lighting.. Never moved from where I placed him but he know looks to have a foot.. Tank was up n going for three years then it was moved n we lost all corals n some live bacteria on the move .. It's been 6 months since it's up n going again.

Oh yeah .. I feed him twice a week when I can .. I am just not liking the brownish color near the tips.. It was all bright white that it almost looked purple... Can u see the difference in color?

Mine seemed almost purple in color when i got him. It only changed to a bright white though. I'm not sure about a brownish discoloration, I'm sorry I cant be of much help. he otherwise looks healthy to me. :)

The brown coloration is the symbiotic algae that lives within the anemone. The fact that it was white means that it wasn't getting enough light. Since it is turning the brownish color it's getting healthy. My condy was white at the base of the tentacles, now it's a tan-ish brown. They grow really fast too. Mine was about the size of a golf ball when I bought it now it's able the size of a grape fruit when it spreads out. The picture was taken right after the lights came on.

As far as the tentacles looking like they're splitting... These creatures do weird things sometimes. I wouldn't be concerned about it. Maybe someone who knows more about them than me can help you out with that.
