Are the two compatable? I'm on day 2 of treating my fish for ich in my hospital tank and just did a 25% water change because I was getting a .5 ppm ammonia reading. Thinking about running to the store and picking up some ammo-loc or some other type of ammonia neutralizer, but don't want to if it will either mess up the copper treatment or have any other negative interaction.

The poor guys are already stressed out from being taken out of the DT and placed into a bare tank with PVC elbows, and the ammonia is just stressing them more. I'm good for now on the ammonia though with the PWC, just wondering about the ammonia neutralizer.

I believe they are find together but i'm not positive. I do know that the copper medication can screw up some of the tests (ammonia, nitrite, ect.). So I wouldn't put a lot of faith in the numbers you get or panic if you get a really high ammonia reading.
