I have two soft corals right now and I am looking to add to my tank.

55 Gal
60lbs live rock
65 lbs live sand
Amonia 0, Nitrite 0, Nitrates 0
I add calcium, iodine, and trace elements to the tank.
I am feeding Zooplankton

I was wondering if anyone had suggestions where to buy good corals online, and if it is a good idea. Im on a budget so I need to find the best deals.

Live aquaria and salt water fish.com are good places ...Sometimes others have frags and such that they sell but it is hard to find/give good deals at this time of year due to needing to ship overnight and the need of heat paks ...
A couple questions how old is your tank ?
What is your lighting ?
What other corals/fish do you have ?

Also, Why are you adding Iodine? Have you tested the levels?

Iodine can kill just about everything in your tank if too much is added. I lost quite a bit due to an Iodine O.D.

Let's start with some basics about your tank.

How long has it been set up and running?
What is your lighting set up (bulb type(s) and wattage)?
What is your filtration set up (cannister, protein skimmer, wet/dry)?
Do you have a sump?
What else is in your tank?
What livestock do you have?
Do you do partial water changes, and how much and how often if you do?
Why are you adding Calcium, Iodine and trace elements to the tank?
Do you have a test kit for everything that you are adding?
Can you post the current levels for Calcium, Magnesium, Alkalinity, normal daytime pH, Iodine?

The answers to those questions will help people here give you good advice.

Also, where are you located. Someone might know of a great nearby lfs. I agree on the choice of liveaquaria and saltwaterfish as well as a few others depending on what you are looking for.

Frequent PWC`s will provide all the iodine you need. Are you testing for these supplements? If you answer some of the questions that the others asked it would sure help out.
