Coral and lighting question

I have done some minor research on corals and lighting and how different kinds of corals require different types of lighting. I believe some even need calcium supplements. I have had a 55 FOWLR for some time and I feel like I'm ready to start exploring the Reef aspect of the hobby. Can someone recommend a good "beginner" corals? I have 1 Kessil 360AW. I will recieve this for my bday this week, so don't know what it's "fully" worthy of. I believe I've heard that many corals require that each LED light has 3W, not 1W. Will my Kessil provide this 3W per LED? I tried to search for it, but couldn't find anything other than "it's made out of awesome" and the Kessils seem to have good ratings. Any info would be great! Thanks

I'm pretty sure you'll need 2 to cover the whole tank. But you could probably grow anything as long as you place them in the right places.

Some easy softies-
Zoas
Leathers
Xenia
Mushrooms
Glove polyps
Palys
LPS-
Acans
Frogspawns
Favia
Candy cane
SPS-
Montis
Staghorn
Birdsnest (IMO)

You can grow any thing you want with a kessil, great lights but you will need 2 for complete coverage.

I got the wide light, it covers 24". I was planning on a 2nd, but too pricey for me to get 2 at one time. Christmas time is when I'll get my 2nd Kissel. I was hoping to place some coral directly underneath in the meantime.
