Coral banded shrimp

Hi all, okay so my coral banded shrimp just molted. It scared me at first, cuz when I walked outta my room he was chillen underneath live rock which he rarely does. But as soon I walk back into my room I looked into the tank and I saw him on the floor if the aquarium looking realllll pale, and dead. But outta the corner of my eye he was back on top of the rock coming towards me. Question is: is that molting? What should I do with the old skin? And is this a good indicator of bad or good water parameters?

Throw away the molt. It's good because it says you have the right levels for it to molt.
