I just added a Coral Banded Shrimp to my 120gal reef tank. I have a large long-tentacle anenome and his buddy the clown living happily in one corner of the tank. Once in the tank, the CBS headed straight for the anenome and grabbed a tentacle like a piece of spaghetti. Anyone aware of a problem with a CBS and long tentacle anenome? I can always move the CBS over to my 40 gal tank where there would be no one he could bother (assuming I can catch him in the reef!) I've attached a picture of the anenome....

Thank for the help!

Greg

I am not aware of any problems between the two, I would simply keep a close eye on them and if it continues remove the shrimp.

Thanks for the reply! The clown chased him away and the shrimp seems to be behaving himself! He does like to hang out under the rock by the anenome but is leaving him alone!

Happy New Year!!!
