The last post has a guy with one in his pico. Get the yellow or gold one and you should be fine.

Just like any fish there is the odd one that can be a terror. Most should be fine and the yellow/gold ones stay smaller.

anything with claws has the potential to kill. they are opportunistic feeders. it's a crap shoot.

the cleaner shrimp or blood shrimp both also have the long whiskers. Cleaner shrimp especially.

I've never heard of them bothering corals or urchins.

no, but what urchin are you keeping in a nano? what do you intend to feed it?

dont plan on keeping one i was commenting on the one in kms avatar picture or it looked like a urchin anyways

Mine? It is an urchin, was in the nano until it got too large, is now in our large tank.

I think you should go with the cleaner shrimp if you like the long whiskers. Very peaceful and nice.

will look into them. id love an urchin but i think hed be way to cramped to begin with nd I'd have no were to relocate when the time comes

I prefer the fire shrimp over the normal cleaners just because of the looks, but fire shrimps tend to hide more. I started noticing my fire shrimping coming out more often during feeding now, but the rest of the time, he's just in his corner, even under moonlights.

I'm considering trying to do a CBS and a fire shrimp in my tank. I heard of people having success by providing their CBS with plenty of feed to stay happy
