Got this expensive piece (I believe is a trachy..) about 3 weeks ago, and it's/was beautiful and thriving. Did first water change last week and since then have seen two bands of white tissue that have now joined together and seem to be spreading. All parameters stable 79.1 degrees, 8.3, calcium 500, KH 10.5, 0 all bad things. Haven't noticed my clowns, chalk bass, or inverts bothering it at all. Any chance to save this beauty? Doesn't look like brown jelly to me

Salinity? Age of tank?

Livestock? Is it possibly being nipped by any fish?

1025, bout 8 months. Just gave it a 10 minute iodine bath before bed

No I mentioned Zero nipping by fish. Possible an emerald crab irritated it but they're well fed so I doubt if.

Please help guys any advice? I fed him Mysis today and he took a bunch. Probably going to do another iodine bath tonight. Any thoughts?
