Hey Guys,
I have some Duncans and Frogspawns that have ALOT of heads on them. So many to the point that the heads are crowding each other. In the ocean this doesn't seem to be a problem. But in my aquarium the polyps on the outter edge open up very wide. The ones on the inner part barely open up all the way. Should I frag them up to give them room to stretch?

They won't smother themselves. The heads will grow to compensate for everything. I've never trimmed my Duncan and it has to be over 50 heads at this point.
As for my hammer coral, pretty similar but I keep breaking it accidentally. I just stick the broken part in the sand with all the others. Even then they don't smother each other.
