Currently I have a dual t5ho light. I was wondering if I added this light to my setup it would be good for higher light corals or if it wouldn't really do much because of the spectrum? Hope the linked worked.

I personally don't think that would be sufficient. I would use that money to buy a Chinese taotronic. They're about the same price. And you could keep anything under the Taos.

It's not the spectrum, it's the total wattage. Those LEDs aren't going to help you.

Yea thanks for the info. Didn't realize that but yea it is only 8 watts.

Keep in mind almost everything you can buy at the big box stores are for tropical fish lighting only
