CowFish Antler?

I have a fairly small longhorn cowfish that appears to have picked on my Trigger fish one too many times and gotten the end of one of his horn shredded. It is now growing back with three branches on the end of the horn making it appear antlerish rather than like a horn. I'm sure there is no health risk of this, I'm just wondering if this is unusual and if at some point will he will look "normal" again.

PS Any tips on how to get fish to pose for pics?? I took about 20 and this was the best one!!

Use the flash and a higher shutter speed, just make sure the camera is agles to the glass to prevent glare. Also enable your macro mode if your camera has it.

I think your just gonna have an odd ball cow fish, I doubt it will grow back together.
