CPR refugium

First I want to say hi to everyone here. I am new to the site and new to saltwater tanks. I am just about to get my 55gallon up and running but need to pick up a couple more things. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how high a CPR refugium sticks above the top of the tank. I have custom built a low stand because I put my tank under a mantel I have on the wall. I am tight for space between top of the tank and mantel. I will get pictures up to show my progress.

I don't know anything about CPR refugiums, but I do run their overflow and it is maybe an inch above the lip of the tank. Will you be running a fowlr or reef system?
