hi there

I am looking for information on adding crushed coral sand in an already existing aquarium?
The aquarium has crushed coral, but it becomes depleted and I would like to know if it is poosible to add new crushed coral in my reef tank.

Thanks
Philmano

Yes, it can be purchased at most lfs'. Make sure to thoroughly rinse it prior to adding to your tank even though there will be residual clouding anyways.

Thanks Innovator.
Also is there any good reliable sites that one can look at to distinguish between the SPS & LPS corals and what there lighting requirements are?

Thanks

Ask in the reef section, you will get some great advice!

Purchase Eric Borneman's "Aquarium Corals" for care information on sps, lps, and soft corals and/or highly recommended field-type scientific guides:
