I have a 23gallon (to be more precise) tank.

It currently houses:

1x Clownfish
1x Chromis (was two but one died :( )

Currently acclimatising one lemon damsel (this is what the LFS named it as)

Is this stock OK? LFS advice is crap so I could do with some other input.

Thanks

get ready most people will recommend you take the damsel back their bullies

I read about that too but, at the LFS the Damsel was in a tank with some Chromis and they all seemed fine (but I know LFS can be crap places sometimes)

I did ask while I was there if it would be OK and they said yes, **** them.

Should have just got another Chromis!

Haha... I had a blue devil that was great got another one... not only did it beat up my other but took out the gramma too. Still can't get him out...wish they had damsel X... lol

I would watch how it does. We have had a damsel in our tank for a while and it does
Fine. Not the friendliest or most personable fish but it doesn't attack any of our other fish. She actually runs from our fire fish. Each fish comes with it's own personality. If she seems nippy or aggressive... Boot her. It'll be fine. There are a lot of opinions out there but each tank comes with it's own variables. Fish behavior is so situational that what works for one persons tank may not for another.

When I do get him out im going to sit him on the counter and let him suffer....

Well, first contact went good but in the future who knows!

Hope they get along because he looks really cool.
