I'm having some glass cut for a new project, what I would like to know is do I need the edges polished? I was going to use wet and dry sand paper to rid the sharp edges but it's come to mind that where it has been cut I might not be a very square edge. The glass will be 10mm

Thanks

You don't need the edges polished, but it's nice to have them. You should have a square, even cut though.

Thanks, that's what I thought. I had a quote for the glass and the guy was trying to sell me the polished edges as he said the edges won't be a clean cut. Won't be buying from him, plus he wanted to charge me an extra £90 for polishing,

Thanks mr x
