Cyano on sandbed

I have a cyano bacteria on my sand bed only. It's a very fine grain sand. About 2" deep. I have good flow with two wp-25s
I was thinking about vacuuming out all the sand cleaning it then putting it back. Any thoughts on this. Anyone got a better idea. Click image for larger version

You could just siphon on the top and stay on your water changes

Try coral snow, worked for me, dosing weekly now and no sign of it returning, suction out what you can, took about 2/3 weeks for it to clear but all good now

Dosing only covers up the problem, it doesn't fix the cause, cut back on feedings, siphon and wc with rodi. You can also change up your flow some.
