I had a Zoa colony that I moved a little to close to my tube Anenome! When there is a fight between coral or coral and Anenome are there any chemical release in the water that can damage more then just the fighters!

Ok so will Carbon help to remove these toxins?

The danger is overstated really. Zoanthids will most likely be overwhelmed by the nems sting and will die off within its reach. They however won't poison the water in reprisal as they just aren't an overly aggressive coral. Now if it was an aggressive coral that you moved too close then it could be an issue.

Zoos may not be as aggressive and can not compete with other corals like nems but they do have defense mechanism which I have read are toxic.

Zoos compete by growing faster than other corals and blocking light from the slower coral. They are only toxic if eaten or injured.
