No idea my dosing pump died a week before I flew out and everywhere I called had to order them in. I'm back to manual dosing and my house sitter is either not dosing enough or not doing it at all

Between my four dogs, two parrots and a old cat, the reef tank just makes it that much harder to travel.

I wouldn't have gone if it was up to me but the in-laws paid for the ticket so I had to go. Iv got a cat a dog and the reef so it can be hard but sounds like u got it harder

I have two dogs, 10 cats, and two reefs (and just started a 60 gallon live plant fresh water). When I go away, my in laws house sit and I pay my LFS to stop in and service my systems (less water changes). Cheap insurance to have knowledgable eyes looking at the tanks.

Yeah I decided to get a local aquarium maintenance guy to come test my tank for me

Some pics the guy took after he cleaned the tank. Must say I'm impressed

I'm loving the tank man! I don't see any smuggled corals... ;) lol. Didn't see anything you liked on the Great Barrier Reef???

You have some crazy chalices though!

Bit of an update had some trouble with AEFW only lost a frag so far but think it could be the reason behind the recession on a few other corals as well also found what I believe is a sundial snail. I came back from qld empty handed no barrier reed corals haha. Got my cal reactor up and running but having a few problems tuning the bubble count will be getting a solinoid to shut off the co2 at the desired pH. Here as some snaps :)/

Those look pretty big for AEFW. I just see a big flat worm. If there are many they can irritate and block the light from the corals, but those just look too big to me. Easily can be wrong here.
Either way, your pictures of 'troubles' in the tank are simply gorgeous as always.

Hopefully there not haha I will dip eventually anyway. My colours still seem to be good really impressed with the blur

I would not say they are AEFW having come across them recently myself they will also generally lay eggs as attached picture below I found on my acro !! Also AEFW are very hard to spot as they take on the colour of the coral it's munching I would say you have red planaria flatworms looking at the picture.

Also stunning chalice and monti you have :)
