Hey guys thought I'd start bit of a journal/ info thing on my tank. As some may know iv upgraded my tank over the last 3 months and this is where I'm at with it it's a 42x36x20 tank with a 36x15x15 sump. I'm running 165 watt leds 2 fixtures and I'm picking up a 400watt halide tomorrow.
My main goal is to have a mixed reef with a vast range of sps in there also. If you want any more info just ask here are some pics enjoy

How will you be using the MH with the leds?
"Mid day " for a couple of hours?

Thanks guys I'll be running the halide for 5 hours a day and using the leds as well. When I start it will be a week running them 1.5 hours then 3 then 5 to try acclimate the corals. I got some 20000k globes that I'm gonna run and see how they go. Here are a couple more pics

It sure is haha gonna set it up and then borrow a par meter and see what I'm getting my mate thinks I should be getting around 500 par at 1 ft

Yeah I built the frame my mrs doesn't like it so back to the drawing board... Got a new chalice today pretty awesome

Very nice, love the chalice collection! Can they all touch or are some chalices different?

The big orange one has a pretty bad sting on it most of the ones collected around the same area are the same. This one I got today is from the barrier reef the others are from the Northern Territory or Western Australia this is a wa one
