Thank you guys,...After 24 hours both new corals are doing great,..the fungid plate coral is fully extended and all of the little tentacles are happily flowing with the current,..the chalice seems a little brighter today than yesterday,..I'm thinking about getting another chalice ,..just too pretty not to...at least IMO :-/

I couldn't resist and ordered another "Martian chalice " yesterday,...I kept thinking that if I didn't ,..I'd probably kick myself in the butt for not doing so when they're out of stock.
I feel better now and will rest comfortably tonite knowing it'll be here tomorrow afternoon.

Yeah, that's an amazing looking Chalice, Dary! Chalice and Acans are probably my favorites at this point, mainly because there are so many variations of them. Never seen one at ANY LFS, like that.. Good luck with them..plural.

A wise decision my man. Very wise. Lol. Exotic corals are exotic for a reason- hard to find at a decent price!

I am counting the days when you announce the explosive coral growth is forcing you into that 200 gallon tank! If you are successful, as I know you will be, what does one do when his chalice coral gets as big as a cabbage? Or bigger! He buys a new tank, or gets a hammer out... I have yet to frag many hard corals...but it can get pretty medieval.

The 2nd martian coral landed a couple of hours ago and after acclimating it to my water its in it's new home.. Here's a picture or two of it. As always , fingers crossed!!!

When these guys get settled in the right environment they grow pretty fast. Mine are slowed down because of all the competition. Why I am looking forwards to setting up a tank for some overflow.
