While I was looking at the corals in my LFS's reef tanks I noticed a brain coral that wasc completely white. I asked the reef guy about it and he told me that it was dead. He removed it and showed it to me. It appeared to be completely calcified. I thought that it might be an interesting addition to my substrate and shells so I took it home. (It was given to me)

Is it all right to put this dead brain into my reef tank?

A pic would be helpful. What happen to the fleshy part of it. If it`s just the skeleton of it then you`ll be OK.
