Hey everyone,
As most of you know, last year at MACNA (2013) ReefGen introduced Captive Bred Flamboyant Cuttlefish (Metasepia pfefferi). Ever since I have been very curious on these creatures. I decided that it may be time to find one and raise it on my own. It would be an interesting adventure, and he'd get his own 20g tank. My issue is that It has been quite difficult to find information to create the correct environment for this guy. From what I have read, they are quite difficult to find when they hit Liveaquaria's Divers Den. They also seem to be an expert only, and species only fish. I by no means am an expert, however I do believe I have the perseverance to pull of a successful habitat for this cephalopod.
Now, any opinions or information you have found on them is greatly appreciated.
Overall i'd really like to know what you guys think about keeping them.
Anybody you know who has successfully kept them?
Or anything else that might be helpful to this undertaking.
