In my quest to do this as accurately (and lazily) as possible, I am looking at digital testers.
Few different kinds out there, and wanted to see which are appropriate for our craft.
1. Temp & Ph testers- Seem to range from simple (temp and Ph), to complicated (Temp, Ph, TDS
, EC). Do we need to know Total Dissolved Solids and Electrical Conductivity (or are these part of Ph???)? And do we need Ph beyond .1?
2. Refractometers- From $40 - $150. Do we need more than just Specific gravity to +/-0.001, and Salinity 1-100 ppt
? Seem to be a lot with other fancy stuff...
Sorry for the long post, but I hope this helps others that are wading through all of the aquarium hobby add ons (you mean I don't just buy a tank and airstone? 8O ).
P.S. If you are thrilled about one of your testers, and want to put a link in, that would be great.
