Is it a good idea to use steam distilled water from the supermarket for my marine tank?

Thanks

Rich

It is better to use RO/DI water, it is more pure than distilled. You also need to be careful with distilled as some distillation uses copper tubing which can leach into the water, although I am not sure how bioavailable that copper would be. I personally will use distilled in my reef, in a situation where I don't have RO water, but it is not something I would make a habit of ;)
