Diy led lighting

I am looking to build my own led light for a 250 gallon mixed reef. Would like to get anybodys input on this like what color leds, how many leds, what degree lens you used, how far above the water you placed your lights ETC ETC!

Yeah I have a email sent to them waiting for a reply would like to get every opinion I could on colors to use my goal is to have the light start out around 10-12k in the morning for coral growth and bring in more blue for a 20 k look in the evening not sure if I should use any red and green LEDs or any uv LEDs
