Diy refugium light help

After trying 3 jbj refugium lights with no luck I'm needing another option. Really don't like the suction cup idea on the others. Haveing a three yr old scares me with those. What light do I get at lowes or Home Depot. All three jbj lights quit within 3 days!!! Led lights on the display with no chiller. Will this light put off much heat???

How big is your refugium? LED does not radiate that much heat at all. BTW Algae don't need a strong light really. A 15 watt fluorescent fixture with plastic enclosure would work.
