ok so i have this idea for a sump/refugium that i think would work and would be very easy to do.
supplies:
10 gallon glass tank
5 gallon glass tank(or any small container)
sand, live rock, chaeto
return pump
overflow box

ok so picture this: you have a five gallon tank inside the ten gallon. in the five gallon you have sand, rock, and macro algae and its a place to grow copepods. on top of the five gallon is gutter guard to keep the rock sand and algae in the five gallon.
outside the five gallon(in the ten gallon) you have your overflow tubes and return pump.
what do you think? suggestions?
i would like to incorporate a micro bubble trap and sponge filter for mechanical filtration.
tell meh whatcha think.:flowers:
