do actinic lights feed algae growth

Right now I have my white lights on from 10 to 6 every day and the actinics on from 8 to 10 every day. So I was wondering does algae grow from actinic lights.

Yes, actinics do fuel algae growth. 14 hours of actinics is an awfully long time to keep them on. I'dd probably run them from 9 to 7 and just use led moonlights at night.
