I just installed my Aqua C Remora PS and was wondering if I still need to direct my PH flow towards the surface to create agitation for airation(SP?).

Let we rephrase

I thought it is recomended to point your PH towards the surface because it promotes gas exchange.

I thought a Protien Skimmer creates ggas exchange through its process adding air into the water.

Then I thought, do I need to direct my PHs towards the surface anymore?

I am very new(3 months) so please correct me where I am wrong.

Most of the gas "exchange " takes place at the water surface. Skimmers do not rid the water of CO2.

You'd think so, but the skimmer doesn't actually add much oxygen to the water at all.

Yup, keep the surface of the water broken a bit. Holy Cow Atari, where have you been?
