Do sailfin tangs eat hair algea?

Like most fish, hit or miss. Mine eats algae strips, that's it.

It's all about ur parameters and feeding. How often do u feed? Is ur tank new?

All my params are good. It's cause it was already on a couple rocks I got from a friend. He is eating it now! Shouldn't be long till it's gone. He mowed down the little but of bubble algea that was in there too.
