Does anyone thaw their Formula One food with RO water?

I normally thaw my frozen mysis with RO water to get rid of any phosphate and then add Zoe and Selcon. But with Formula One, it is already soaked in vitamin. Would I wash away all of the vitamin by thawing it with RO water?

I'm new to all of this but when I feed my tank, I break off a small piece of mysis shrimp into a small cup, while it's still frozen I suction some tank water into the cup and stir until thawed then pour it all in the tank.

Like I said, I don't know if correct or the best way but the food doesn't have time to turn rancid and I don't forget about in the fridge either.
