Hey guys I was wondering if I mixed a not reef safe fish, say a queen angel, with some keys lr, would the fish pick all of the good stuff off of the lr? I dont want to buy expensive lr, only for it to become fish food. Please help, thanks in advance.

well, I believe, the angels will pick at polyps from corals and such and is why they're considered not reef-safe. what do you consider the "Good stuff" on the LR? if you mean the coraline algae or copepods and sponges, then you might be ok with the angel. I've never had one myself so I can't give first hand experience.

would you say then, that some fish are not at all suitable for a reef tank, and some of those are also not suitable for FOWLR, and should be on the "fish only" list?
