Dosing 2 part

I just set up a 2 part auto dosing system and my question is this:

I am trying to dial in my dosage amounts and by my testing I still need more alk solution but the Ca seems to be leveled out. It is ok to increase dosage on 1 but not the other right? They don't have to be dosed in equal volumes for any reason do they?

Your correct. You can dose different amounts. My alkalinity needs to be dosed at a 2/1 ratio to keep steady parameters while dosing

When I was dosing up to the threshold on parameters with B-ionic 2 part (5 meq/l 500 Ca 1450 mag) I was dosing 35 ml alk and 15-20 ml calcium in my mixed reef with about 50gallons total water volume (after displacement is considered)

I mixed my own solutions using calcium chloride and sodium carbonate powders.
