Double ended halides

What are your opinions on these? I have an opportunity to purchase a 150 and wnt to know how good they are. I have read that they are excellent. Anyone run these?TIA

i've seen double ended aqua medic fixtures and they are absoutly beautiful, very bright and nice coloration

there are a few brands that make double ended halides (HQI) bulbs, which brand are you talking about? If you are asking in general if DE is better than mogul MH than I would have to say that more people think that DE is better. They say that DE MH bulbs are more intense.

I run Geismann 150W DE MH 14k and I like them. But I never used mogul based MH so my opinion is biased.

Yes,FF the hqi's. I am not sure what brand the buld is but I know the ballast is pfo
