Doughnut coral care

Picked up this awesome doughnut coral at LFS.

Anyone have experience, advice? I know they are low flow medium light.

Nice scoly!! I'd leave it on the sandbed in low flow, medium light like you said

It is a little different from scoly. If you google meat or doughnut coral you can see.

Oh sorry it is acanthophyllia. You're right, I usually see scolymia is referred to as doughnut coral and acanthophyllia as meat coral.

the color is out of this world ,the one I have is much more on the brown side think it was bleached at 1 time

It will take meaty foods. I would feed it a couple times a week after lights out. Otherwise, decent parameters and you are good to go. They are pretty easy.

No. You aren't going to see that without some sort of massive trauma to the tissue.
