Just got a Platgyra(sp) brain coral, is it recommended that I drip acclimate it over an hour or 2?

Yes, a slow acclimation for your coral is best.

Figured that it was best for corals as well as everything else so I set up the drip line :D Figured better safe than sorry even though I got the typical respone from the LFS which was just float it for 20 minutes then dump it right in, it's too bad most people they give this bad recommendation too probably belive it and do so accordingly
