I already have a established tank with about 60-65 pounds of live rock. I wanted to add more but was leaning towards getting dry rock. Can I put dry rock in with the live ?

Might cause a cycle to happen therefore you would need to watch your ammonia levels. Ammonia level getting to high can harm whatever you have in the tank

It depends on the base rock. I have MANY times just rinsed it off and put it right in with no spikes at all. I do hear that brs pukani rock can cause spikes if added straight away......
But the basic base rock you get usually can go right in. :)
