I have owned saltwater tanks for the last 12 years, mostly FOWLR and aggressive FO, so I am not a newbie in the saltwater game (I have the maxed out credit card to prove it.)

My current 90 is going to be reef, and with 100lb of live rock, and good decent startup lighting (384PC) , I am looking for suggestions on good "easy corals" to start out with.

If you are looking for good easy corals then check out my gallery as they are all easy and medium light corals. They are soft and LPS corals. Welcome to the reef side

As mentioned soft corals (ie. leather coral), as well as polyps(zoos, green button polyps) are good to start out with. LPS are not much more difficult, but they use Ca and Alk to grow. That can usually be replenished through regular 15-25% PWC's, or w/ a supplement if desired.
