Now that I've updated my lighting I would like to try some easy sps corals. I've looked at the birds nest corals and I'm getting conflicting info as to ease/difficulty of care for these corals.

Does anyone have a suggestion for an 'easy' to care for sps coral?

TIA

Stylophora. While the one I bought in November isn't growing like a weed under my PCs, it's still its original color (pink/salmon) and has added several new little branches. And I don't do much of anything except squirt some zooplankton/marine snow its way once a week.

I would say Montipora species are easily the most resilient to a variety of lighting conditions and water quality.

4 x 110 VHO over 75G with green milli, several monti caps, what I think is a stag (Acro) and green (stylophora) as well as pink (Seriatopora) birds nest. All have grown well from a couple inches in the last year to, in the case of the stag, monti and milli, out of control...O ya, and some purple encrusing coral (Montipora Nodosa). I had a great Bali Slimer (Acro) which was growing like a weed but bleached after moving it up closer to the top nearer to the VHO...Completely my fault for not properly acclimating...Best of luck!
