Eel shrimp

Can I feed my snowflake eel a frozen Pre cooked shrimp?

They will eat almost anything. Except vegetables. A properly washed shrimp, not too big, should be just fine.

I had much better luck with a fresh raw shrimp from the grocery store. Didnt really care for the pre cooked shrimp.

They seem to like squid a lot too. I personally like the frozen krill or squid thats intended for aquariums. That way you know for sure you're not putting anything funky in the tank.

When they get big enough, they also like frozen silversides. Had a big lion fish and a 24" snowflake moray eel living together for years and they both chowed down on silversides. The morays are all near sighted, so I had to use tongs to wave the fish under his nose. The lion fish had no such issues and would gulp down the silversides in a action that I understand is among the fastest in the sea.
