Eheim Pumps

Hi guys, I can't seem to be able to remove the mounting rail from my Eheim pump. Is there a trick to it? It won't even budge.

never owned one but do ya still have the manual?? my only help sorry !!

Yeah, The manual has a drawing with arrows showing a simple pull towards the front of the pump. Maybe I'll try using a wooden mallet.

I got it off. I took the prefilter off, then I put the back of the mounting rail on the floor at an angle. Then just push forward with your weight. Then it will pop off.
