Emerald crab hiding?

Got a emerald crab the other day and he was out a lot but then last night I couldn't find him and haven't seen him today either. Is this normal behavior or did he die??

Normal, once mine found there spot I rarely see him. Every now and again at night.

Totally normal. I have a ruby crab (basically the same thing but reddish-pink instead of green). I get a glimpse of him every few weeks.

I was wondering this about my emerald too. Haven't seen him for ages.
