Emerald Crabs Reef Safe?

Hello all. Has anyone had any issues with emerald crabs being destructive in their reef tanks? I am slowly switching my FOWLR to reef, and I have 4 emeralds in there. I like them and really dont want to get rid of them. Thanks.

As far as I know they are. Mine have never bothered mine

i've heard horror stories of them turning to fish killers once they get a bit bigger...

I have suspected that they killed several of my fish.

As with most things in the ocean, if they're big enough to eat something in your tank they probably will. But generally speaking these wont consume your fish unless they were already perishing. In which case you might have other issues with your tank....
