I bought an emrald crab today. I thought that I did my research, but now I am reading some disturbing thigs about this little crab. Should I be worried? Are they more benifitial than harmful? Any tips, or stories would be great.
Thanks

Na, they do more good than harm.
Its simple. keep an eye on him, if he becomes a problem just remove him.

I guess the biggest thing that I am worried about is I have a firefish, and a orange spotted goby. My tank is 50gal. It is the same dimensions as a 40gal breeder, but taller. The goby dug a burrow under a rock, and both the firefish and goby live in there. However, there is only oneway in, and oneway out. I am worried the crab will wonder in there at night when the fish are catching some zzzz's and have a nice meal.
Do I need to worry about this, or am I just over imaginative?

They wont hurt your gobies unless they are ill or incapable of escaping its grasp. Gobies are sickeningly fast so there shouldn't be an issue unless, like I said, they're perishing already.
