Sump size Help

Hi!

I just bought the Eshopps Nano Overflow box, and I want to calculate the volume of water I need to plan in case of a power outage.

I'm using this tool :

http://www.reefcentral.com/calc/sump.php

They ask for Height of water above overflow.

Since the slots on the box inside of the tank are 1'' high, I guess that's the value I must use?
